CEED Entrepreneurial Centre Hosts Prominent Slovenian Entrepreneurial Figures at the Top Class Programme Graduation Ceremony
| 30-Jun-09 ,
Ljubljana, Slovenija | | | | | | | At the closing entrepreneurial event that took place on 29 June, the CEED Entrepreneurial Centre hosted prominent figures from the Slovenian entrepreneurial sphere, among them Bogdan Pušnik, Rudi Bric, Branko Drobnak and Zoran Janković. Sponsored by the Ljubljana Municipality, the attendees gathered at the Ljubljana Castle along with sixty-odd successful young entrepreneurs, all members of CEED’s education programme.
For the young entrepreneurs, the highlight of yesterday’s event was when they received their diplomas for having successfully completed the CEED Top Class 2008/09 programme, which has been designed for obtaining knowledge and networking experience under the mentorship of experienced Slovenian entrepreneurs. They will be able to use their new knowledge and friendships to accelerate their companies’ growth. The education programme was conducted by top experts from the areas of entrepreneurial growth and entrepreneurial growth financing, from the area of expansion into new markets, and by renowned Slovenian entrepreneurs, such as Zoran Janković, Dejan Turk, Janez Škrabec, Branko Drobnak, Bogdan Pušnik, Davor Jakulin, Sandi Češko, and others who successfully translated their skills and knowledge into practice.
Presenting the diplomas to the young entrepreneurs and the recognition awards to the mentors and lecturers was the Mayor of the Ljubljana Municipality, Zoran Janković, while the Director of CEED Slovenija, Barbara Bregar Mrzlikar, presented the education programme results, which are gaining in significance as a fresh, innovative and dynamic initiative to Slovenian entrepreneurship. Within the Slovenian entrepreneurial sphere, the CEED Top Class programme is recognised as a high quality entrepreneurial mentorship programme, and justly so.
The evening completed with the “Art vs. Business” performance by author and performer Nina Božič, who impressed everyone present with her expressive value. The hall also featured an art photography exhibition on the subject of what we dare to do differently by author Janez Kotar, a third-generation CEED Top Class member and the Director of K&S Consulting.
