SOFIA, May 13th, 2010
– the second module of the Regional ICT Top Class started with a Business
Networking Event among participants, mentors and Bulgarian IT companies operating
locally.
The “CEED Regional
Top Class” program is organized by the CEED entrepreneurial network and
attended by entrepreneurs from Slovenia, Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo and
Bulgaria. In the following months, each capital of aforementioned countries will
host one program module, the best practices of which will be integrated into
similar programs across other developing countries and regions where CEED
currently operates.
The first program of
its kind in Southeast Europe will present the participants with answers about
the best practices of business development and expansion, ways of establishing
an international sales team, managing regional and global projects, as well as
valuable experience of larger companies and successful entrepreneurs from the
region.
”We are confident
that this program has the potential to develop into something more than just
one-time event”, said Barbara Bregar-Mrzlikar, Director of CEED Slovenija. “All
best practices gained from this edition of the “CEED Regional Top Class”
program will be integrated into subsequent ones, not only within the confines
of SE Europe, but also in other countries and regions. Moreover, our goal is to
establish both a cooperative network of businesses and active CEED centres
throughout the region to support them,” stressed Bregar-Mrzlikar.
Within the individual
program modules, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to network, exchange
experience, and meet potential business partners, as well as get to know the
situation and trends upon individual ICT country markets.
